Erasmus+ mobility applications are received in accordance with the calendar announced each academic year by the Marmara University International Office. The evaluation is carried out within the framework of the criteria determined by the Turkish National Agency, based on academic grade point average and foreign language proficiency, and the results are announced through a transparent scoring system.
The academic validity of the mobility process is protected by a three-stage assurance mechanism. The courses and credits to be taken are determined through the Learning Agreement signed before the mobility, possible course changes during the mobility are approved and recorded by the parties, and after the return, the transfer of the earned credits to the program is completed through the recognition documents issued. Thanks to this structure, the time our students spend abroad is recognized without any loss in terms of academic progress.
For application periods, quotas, and current announcements, our students are advised to regularly follow the Marmara University International Office web page and the announcements of our department.
Other Exchange Programs
In addition to the Erasmus+ program, there are also national programs offering our students additional mobility opportunities. The Farabi Exchange Program enables student exchange between universities within Türkiye for one or two semesters. The Mevlana Exchange Program provides academic mobility with countries outside Europe, opening a wider geography of international experience to our students.
The application periods, quotas, and current implementation conditions of these programs may change in line with the decisions of the Council of Higher Education, and the relevant announcements are made by the authorized offices of our university.
