Program Overview

Four years, eight semesters, and 240 ECTS. A practice-oriented program from beginning to end, extending from scientific foundations to advanced application, from the atelier to the workplace.

The program is structured in a practice-oriented and holistic manner, spread across eight semesters with 30 ECTS per semester. At the heart of its design lies an understanding that treats learning as a step-by-step progression. Each year is built upon the achievements of the previous year, and theoretical knowledge is regularly integrated with atelier practice.

Program Structure by Year
  • First year: Foundational scientific courses such as professional anatomy and physiology, microbiology and sterilization, cosmetic chemistry, and hair and skin diseases. Introduction to design principles and beauty technologies.
  • Second year: Fundamental and advanced techniques of makeup, hair styling, skin care, and hand and foot care. Strengthening of the academic foundation through research methods and professional English.
  • Third year: Advanced technical courses such as hair cutting and coloring, epilation, men's hairdressing, and body care. A specialization personalized through elective pools.
  • Fourth year: Workplace-based professional training in the fall semester, and the graduation project, salon management, and advanced application courses in the spring semester.

Thanks to this step-by-step structure, graduates become both field-ready practitioners and professionals capable of analyzing their field. Graduation is designed not as a transition from school to work but as the beginning of a career.

Learning Approach
  • Practice-based: Every theoretical topic has a corresponding application in the atelier.
  • Step-by-step progression: Each year is built upon the knowledge and skills of the previous year.
  • Personalizable: Elective course pools allow students to chart their own specialization path.
  • Integrated with the sector: The field is brought into the school through invited experts, workshops, and workplace training.
  • Aligned with academic standards: The curriculum takes the Turkish Qualifications Framework for Higher Education (TYYÇ) and the Bologna principles as its reference.
