Within the scope of Erasmus+ Study Mobility, our students will have the opportunity to study for one or two semesters at European universities with which our department has signed bilateral agreements. The courses to be taken abroad are determined within the framework of the Learning Agreement signed by the parties before the mobility. This agreement guarantees that the courses the student will take abroad are matched with the program at Marmara University in terms of content and credit.
The ECTS credits of successfully completed courses are fully recognized in our program in accordance with the principles of the European Credit Transfer System. In this way, our students gain an international educational experience without extending their graduation period and have the opportunity to experience a different academic culture and professional practice environment first hand. This experience makes a significant contribution to our students' foreign language competence, intercultural communication skills, and employability after graduation.
As our department is a young department that admitted its first students in the 2025-2026 academic year, our Erasmus+ bilateral agreement processes are still in the structuring phase. Our Department Erasmus Coordination Office is actively continuing its efforts to sign cooperation agreements with European universities offering programs that align with our field.
